The Home Insulators Customer Texts
What we text. Text messages to people who signed up for them, about their own estimates, jobs and invoices with The Home Insulators:
- Your estimate: a note when we send your estimate, with your sales rep’s name and number, and follow-ups asking how your project is coming along and when you expect to be ready for insulation.
- Your job: scheduling and updates about the work.
- Your invoice: the job address and invoice total when a job is done, reminders while an invoice is open, a secure link to view and pay your invoice, where to mail a check, arranging a check pickup, and payment confirmations.
- Replies to the texts you send us.
We send no marketing or promotional texts in this program, and no texts on behalf of any other company.
Who texts you. The Home Insulators’ business text numbers: our bookkeeping line, 914-685-9063, and the Home Insulators business text number of your sales rep.
How to sign up
There are two ways for customers to sign up. Signing up is optional. It is not a condition of getting an estimate, of doing business with us, or of any purchase.
1. On our website. When you ask for a free estimate on our estimate request form, tick the box that reads: “Yes, The Home Insulators may text me about my estimate and job: estimate follow-ups, scheduling, invoices and payment reminders. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Agreeing is optional and not a condition of getting an estimate or of any purchase. Text Message Terms · Privacy Policy” The box starts unticked, and you can ask for an estimate without ticking it.

2. By text, for invoices and payments. Text JOIN to your sales rep’s Home Insulators business number or to 914-685-9063. We will text you back a description of these texts, with links to these terms and to our privacy policy, and ask you to reply Y to confirm. You are signed up only after you reply Y, and you will then get one text confirming it.
What our sales reps tell you, in person or by phone: “You can get your invoices and payment updates from The Home Insulators by text. If you want them, text JOIN to my business number, [the rep’s number], or to our bookkeeping line, 914-685-9063, and then reply Y to confirm. Message frequency varies, usually 1 to 4 texts per invoice. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. The Home Insulators Team Text Alerts (for our staff)
What we text. Work alerts, each workday, to the sales reps and office staff of The Home Insulators who signed up for them:
- Estimate follow-ups: the estimates to follow up on that day, with the customer name, job address, phone number and status.
- Payments: the customers to contact that day about payments, with their name, job address and phone number.
- Replies to the texts you send us.
Team alerts have no links, no dollar amounts and no marketing. They are never sent to customers.

How team members sign up. On paper, in person: fill in the one-page Team Text Alerts form, write the mobile number for work texts, check the box, sign and date the form, and hand it in at our office. Nobody can sign up anyone else. The box starts unchecked and reads: “YES, text me work alerts (optional). I agree to receive text messages from The Home Insulators at the mobile number above: my estimate follow-up list and the customers to contact about payments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. How to stop. Reply STOP to any team alert and the alerts stop; you will get one text confirming it. Reply START to sign back up.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies: usually 1 to 4 texts about an estimate, 1 to 4 texts per invoice, plus replies to the texts you send us.
Team Text Alerts: usually 1 to 2 texts each workday, plus replies to the texts you send us.

Message and data rates may apply.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any of our customer texts. END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, STOPALL, REVOKE and OPTOUT also work. You will get one text confirming that you have opted out, and we will send no more texts to that mobile number from any of our numbers. To sign back up, reply START.
